RB75110 Clevite ‘H’ Series Rod Bearings

Clevite^TM ‘H’ series rod bearings. Set of 8 pairs.

Recommended for competition use only.

H-series bearings are more resistant to impact damage (i.e. hammering out the rod bearings under heavy detonation), but have inferior embedability to normal ‘P’ series bearings (the bearings normally protect the crank by allowing microscopic particles to embed in the surface of the bearing, instead of floating between the crank and bearing and scratching the crank), so H-series bearings tend to result in reduced lifespan in a street car that goes thousands of miles between oil changes.

TL;DR Rule of Thumb: if your car has license plates, you probably don’t want H-series bearings.
